Location in Alora: SetUp/CBSA Code

 

CBSA Codes, "core based statistical area", are used to determine the location a patient is located. Similar to a Zip-Code, but the CBSA code is used in Oasis calculation.

Enter the CBSA Code and the Name of the county that code covers.  

If the code covers several counties, do not create a separate line for each county, place it on the same line.  (See CBSA 18140 for example) You may need to abbreviate the county names to get them all to fit on the line.

You may get a list of the CBSA codes from www.cms.gov by searching the website for CBSA Code list or you may contact Alora at 800-984-8250 and speak to a Customer Support Representative.
